Brenda- I learned from someone which I think is the best way, but if you don't have someone to teach you there are a Lot of good tutorials out there. I think this one by Lion Brand is a good one http://learntocrochet.lionbrand.com/ It has good illustrations (which I favor) as well as videos if you like that better.
Molly- Thanks! I'm glad you like them. I have spent a lot of time trying to learn how to use Photoshop recently. I think I will be keeping the blanket. For my next square, I want to make one with an "h" on it so that it will be a bit monogrammed.
